National U Nazareth wins all in Shakey's league

National University Nazareth School, reigning UAAP champions and Palarong Pambansa gold medalists, swept their matches on Tuesday with victories over University of Santo Tomas and University of the Philippines Integrated School to complete a perfect 4-0 record in Pool D of the Shakey's Girls Volleyball Invitational League Rising Stars Cup Division 1.

In their first match against University of Santo Tomas, National University Nazareth School won 25-14 and 25-23, with Denesse Daylisan scoring nine points off eight kills and one block, while Samantha Cantada contributed seven markers.

The Lady Bullpups earlier defeated Far Eastern University-Diliman and St. John's Institute-Bacolod on Monday to start their campaign strong.

National University Nazareth School will face Pool A No. 2 seed Adamson University in the quarterfinal round on Thursday, while other teams advancing include Bacolod Tay Tung from Pool B and De La Salle-Lipa from Pool C.
