Nadine Lustre endorses Leila de Lima, ML party-list

Actress Nadine Lustre has endorsed former Senator Leila de Lima and the Mamamayang Liberal (ML) party-list for the May 2025 mid-term elections.

In a video released on Thursday, Lustre expressed her frustration with government officials who misuse power and public funds, emphasizing that drama should not be part of governance.

Lustre highlighted several controversies including the misuse of confidential funds, rising rice prices, illegal POGO hubs, and the Pharmally scandal, while encouraging viewers to join in the fight against corruption.

Former Senator Leila de Lima, alongside second and third nominees Teddy Brawner Baguilat Jr. and Erin Tañada, were featured in the video declaring their readiness for the upcoming challenges.

De Lima faced three drug-related charges during the administration of former President Rodrigo Duterte but was released after seven years as courts dismissed them.

Photos of Lustre showing a high-five sign with one hand and a thumbs-up with the other to indicate the number 6, which is ML's ballot number, were also released.
