MRT-3 offers free rides for women on International Women's Day

To honor International Women's Day and Women's Month, MRT-3 is offering complimentary rides for female passengers on Saturday, March 8, during specific hours.

MRT-3 General Manager Oscar Bongon stated that the initiative aims to recognize women's significant contributions to society and show support for every woman, honoring their sacrifices for their families.

Free rides are also available for women passengers of LRT-2 from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Additionally, MRT-3 distributed 'Women's Month tokens' to female passengers on Friday, March 7, and provided free haircuts at select LRT-2 stations every Wednesday throughout the month of March.

PITX (Parañaque Integrated Terminal Exchange) is providing free bus rides for female passengers bound for Cubao, Quezon City on March 4, 11, and 25 from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.
