MPTC, DuckWorld PH partner with CSMC for Tour of Luzon

Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) and DuckWorld PH formalized their partnership with Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) on March 17, 2025, ensuring the health and safety of participants in the Tour of Luzon 2025, set to begin on April 24.

The agreement was signed at CSMC's Philippine Center for Advanced Surgery by MPTC Chief Regulatory Officer Arrey Perez and DuckWorld Chairman Patrick Gregorio, with the aim of providing top-notch medical services including emergency care, first aid stations, transport services, and immediate response teams throughout the eight-stage cycling event.

CSMC’s Sports Medicine Institute will play a crucial role in supporting athletes' optimal condition and responding swiftly to any health emergencies during the race, which features a challenging route with stages ranging from 60 to 180 kilometers, concluding in Camp John Hay, Baguio City on May 1.

The Tour of Luzon is an annual professional cycling race that was discontinued since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic and will return as the most prestigious event in the country since its inception in 1955.

CSMC's commitment ensures that all participants, attendees, and staff have access to world-class medical expertise and facilities throughout the historic event.
