Eleazar: No motorcycle barriers for same-household riders in GCQ

Joint Task Force COVID Shield commander Police Lt. Gen. Guillermo Eleazar announced that motorcycle barriers are no longer required for riders living in the same house in GCQ areas, effective August 19.

Riders must still provide proof of residency such as an ID or barangay certification to avoid being apprehended.

For riders not living together, barriers similar to those designed by Angkas are still required and backriders must be APORs.
