Stars pay respects at Mother Lily Monteverde's funeral

Stars including Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Vilma Santos, Aga Muhlach, Senator Bong Revilla, Maricel Soriano, and Judy Ann Santos paid their respects at the wake of Regal Entertainment's founder, Mother Lily Monteverde, on Friday.

Marian was seen wiping away tears as she looked at Mother Lily’s coffin, while stars like Judy Ann Santos, Iza Calzado, Rufa Mae Quinto, Snooky Serna, Alma Moreno, Ruffa Gutierrez, Donita Rose, and many more have been paying tribute to her legacy.

Mother Lily, who passed away on August 4 at the age of 85, was laid to rest at The Heritage Park in Taguig City on Saturday, Aug. 10, with loved ones including Maricel Soriano and Judy Ann Santos in attendance.

Vilma Santos shared that Mother Lily gave her much support, advice, and love not only as a producer but also as a mother.

During her five-day wake, celebrities visited to pay tribute to the Regal Entertainment matriarch who produced iconic films such as 'Mano Po' and 'Shake, Rattle & Roll'.
