MMDA reports minimal impact from PISTON's transport strike

The MMDA reported minimal impact on public transportation in Metro Manila due to a three-day strike by PISTON.

Acting MMDA Chair Romando Artes stated that an Inter-Agency Task Force quickly addressed any disruptions, deploying at least 686 vehicles but only around 100 were actually used.

Most affected passengers were in Malabon, Caloocan, and Paranaque, with one incident of harassment reported but immediately resolved by police.
