MIAA donates lost items to fire victims in Parañaque

The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) donated relief items sourced from lost and found inventory to victims of a fire incident in Sucat, Parañaque City on March 25.

The donation included used clothes, bags, shoes, and slippers for both children and adults intended to assist at least 465 individuals displaced by the fire.

These items were donated after a six-month retention period under Memorandum Circular No. 05, Series of 2021, which mandates the donation of unclaimed items.

The turnover ceremony took place at Aratelis II covered court in Masville and was attended by members of the MIAA Lingap Kapwa Task Force, Barangay officials, and Homeowners Association.

MIAA General Manager Eric Ines emphasized their dedication to extending relief and assistance to help affected families rebuild their lives with hope and dignity.
