MMDA, DPWH schedule EDSA repairs this weekend

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced scheduled road repairs this weekend in parts of Quezon City and Pasay City.

Work will begin at 11:00 p.m. on Friday, January 31, and continue until 5:00 a.m. on Monday, February 3.

In Quezon City, the repairs will affect EDSA southbound between West Avenue and North Avenue Station, Payatas Road after Amlac Village, and Luzon Avenue in front of Puregold.

In Pasay City, EDSA southbound between Zamora Street and Taft Avenue will also undergo repair work.

Additional sections affected include EDSA southbound from Bansalangin Street to West Avenue in Quezon City and the fourth lane of EDSA southbound between Zamora Street and Taft Avenue in Pasay City.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during the road closures, with all affected roads expected to be fully passable by 5:00 a.m. on Monday.
