Meralco assures stable electricity during Holy Week

Manila Electric Company (Meralco) assured customers of stable, reliable, and continuous electricity services during Holy Week, with personnel ready to address any power-related concerns throughout the observance.

Vice President Joe R. Zaldarriaga said Meralco is fully prepared to respond 24/7 to ensure a safe and worry-free break for its customers.

Meralco reminded the public to practice electrical safety during the dry season, advising customers to unplug unused appliances when going away, refrain from using 'octopus connections,' and avoid placing cords under rugs or carpets.

Customers were also urged to keep electrical wires organized and stored properly, and ensure that electrical equipment is kept away from water sources.

While Meralco Business Centers will be closed from April 17 to April 20, customers can still reach the company through its mobile app, official social media pages, and hotlines for any concerns.

Meralco operates in several regions including Bulacan, Cavite, Metro Manila, Rizal, parts of Batangas, Laguna, Pampanga, and Quezon.
