Megaworld partners with Accor to rebrand hotels

Property giant Megaworld is partnering with Accor, a global hotel management company, to enhance its hotel portfolio.

Accor will operate select hotels under Megaworld Hotels & Resorts and integrate their service standards and reservation system into Accor's loyalty program ALL ACCOR.

The Belmont Hotel Mactan in Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu is set to be rebranded as Mercure Mactan Cebu this year, the first of several planned transitions.

Megaworld Hotels and Resorts Managing Director Cleofe Albiso expects Mercure Mactan Cebu to redefine Cebu's tourism landscape and boost the local economy.

Accor’s chief development officer for Asia, Andrew Langdon, noted that Mercure Mactan Cebu will cater to both leisure and business travelers, meeting growing demand in the Philippines.
