Megaworld plans two new 300-hectare townships in Luzon and Visayas

Property developer Megaworld plans to develop at least two new townships in 2025, covering over 300 hectares of land in key growth areas in Luzon and the Visayas.

Megaworld's president, Lourdes Gutierrez-Alfonso, stated that these developments aim to boost local economies and provide job opportunities.

The company did not disclose the exact locations of the two planned townships but said they would be situated in 'key growth areas' within Luzon and Visayas.

Last year, Megaworld launched four new townships with a total land area exceeding 300 hectares, including Lialto Golf and Beach Estates in Batangas, San Benito Private Estate in Lipa, Ilocandia Coastown in Ilocos Norte, and The Upper Central in Cagayan de Oro City.

Megaworld's expansion is expected to align with the country’s goal of attracting more visitors and boosting local economies.
