IATF expands A4 vax group to include media workers

The inter-agency task force has expanded the fourth priority group for vaccination to include media workers, transport sector employees, OFWs, and other essential workers.

Specifically, frontline workers in telecommunications, cable and internet services, electricity distribution, water utilities, education institutions, religious leaders, justice sector personnel, security and social protection sectors are now included.

The updated A4 category was approved on Thursday by the IATF-EID.

However, the exact schedule for vaccinating these new priority groups remains uncertain.
