M4GG backs Sotto, Teodoro against ombudsman complaints

The group views these complaints as politically motivated attacks ahead of the 2025 elections, emphasizing their commitment to transparency and accountability.

Sotto faces multiple graft complaints over alleged illegal discounts for a telecommunications company and undistributed cash allowances for city hall employees.

Teodoro is under investigation for misallocating funds from the Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, which he has described as baseless and timed to coincide with upcoming elections.

The group, led by Teodoro who serves as convenor and includes Sotto among its members, lists 180 mayors across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao in its membership roster.

M4GG expressed hope for a fair investigation and stressed their dedication to fighting wrongdoings while promoting the best interests of the Filipino people.
