Guidicelli warns of P5,000 cash assistance scam using his and Geronimo's names

Matteo Guidicelli warned the public on Monday, March 11, about scammers using his and Sarah Geronimo's names to lure national ID holders into applying for a fake P5,000 cash assistance.

The actor shared screenshots of a TikTok video that included snippets from their PhilSys promotional video as ambassadors, cautioning followers to be wary of the scam.

In another post, Guidicelli confirmed that the video promising P5,000 cash assistance is indeed a scam and urged people to exercise caution.

Despite its popularity—over 90,000 likes and more than 31,000 shares—the misleading TikTok video has not been removed as of yet.

Meanwhile, Guidicelli and Geronimo recently traveled to California for the Billboard Women in Music Awards, where Geronimo became the first homegrown Filipina to receive the Global Force Award.

The couple also celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary recently.
