Teodoro accuses Fernando's firm in Marikina River flooding

Marikina Mayor Marcy Teodoro accused Marikina Representative Bayani Fernando's BF Corporation of contributing to flooding during Typhoon Ulysses due to a reclamation project near Provident Village.

Teodoro believes that soil dumped as part of the project along the Marikina River embankment benefited BF City, owned by Fernando.

Fernando denied involvement, stating the dumping was part of the DPWH’s road dike project and even reached his land.

The city government is considering filing a complaint against BF Corporation for legal liability.
