Marcos’s trust, perf. up; Duterte’s down

President Ferdinand ''Bongbong'' Marcos Jr.'s trust and performance ratings saw an increase in the second quarter of 2025, according to OCTA Research.

Marcos's trust rating rose four percentage points to 64%, while his performance rating increased three points to 62%

Vice President Sara Duterte experienced a decline in both her trust and performance ratings, dropping from 58% to 54% and from 56% to 50%, respectively.

Malacañang welcomed the boost in Marcos' ratings, with Palace Press Officer Undersecretary Claire Castro attributing it to public recognition of his work for the country.

OCTA's latest survey conducted from July 12 to July 17 showed that Marcos' improved rating signals an end to his steady decline over the past year, while Duterte's ratings fell further following her impeachment in February.
