Marcos distributes 91 PTVs in Northern Mindanao and BARMM

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. led the distribution of 91 patient transport vehicles (PTVs) in Northern Mindanao and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region on Tuesday.

During the ceremony at Pelaez Sports Center in Cagayan de Oro City, Marcos highlighted that his administration has fulfilled its promise to provide PTVs to all provinces by distributing a total of 291 units since last year.

The president noted that 85 PTVs were given to LGUs in Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, Bukidnon, Camiguin, Lanao del Norte, and Lanao del Sur, while six units went to BARMM beneficiaries.

This initiative is part of the P2.2 billion budget allocated for the purchase of 1,000 ambulances across the country under the Medical Transport Vehicle Donation Program (MTVDP) by the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

Each PTV is equipped with essential medical supplies such as a stretcher, oxygen tank, and blood pressure monitor to ensure safe patient transportation.
