Marcos thanks Zelenskyy for safe passage of Filipinos during Ukraine conflict

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. thanked Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy for ensuring the safe passage of Filipino nationals during the Russia-Ukraine conflict.

In a phone conversation on Feb. 13, both leaders discussed support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as deepening cooperation between their countries.

Marcos expressed admiration for Ukrainian nationalism and bravery, emphasizing the Philippines' commitment to a peaceful resolution of the crisis.
