Marcos inspects PHP 8.42B ANAR road in Pampanga

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. emphasized the government's commitment to building world-class infrastructure during his inspection of the Airport-New Clark City Access Road (ANAR) in Pampanga on Wednesday.

The ANAR, set to open by July and costing PHP 8.42 billion, is a six-lane road spanning 20 kilometers designed to reduce travel time from other parts of the complex to New Clark City from one hour to just 20 minutes.

Marcos highlighted that such projects are part of the 'Build Better More' activities aimed at expanding Clark's profile in the global investment map and fostering economic growth.

BCDA chair Delfin Lorenzana noted that ANAR will transform the 32,000-hectare Clark corridor into a new economic epicenter with inclusive and sustainable growth potential, capable of hosting various economic activities including manufacturing concerns and leisure complexes.

During the inspection, Marcos crossed the Sacobia Bridge featuring dedicated bike lanes, pedestrian paths, and linear parks as part of the ANAR project.
