Marcos launches updated eGov PH app with new features

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. launched the eGov PH Super App in San Juan City, touting it as a modern solution to simplify government transactions for Filipinos.

The app aims to reduce corruption and long lines by allowing users to access over 70 government services from their smartphones, with new features announced during his fourth State of the Nation Address (SONA).

DICT Undersecretary David Almirol highlighted that upcoming additions will include NBI clearance applications and renewals, Beep Card integration for MRT and LRT commuters, and access to BIR's eTIN system.

Since its launch in 2023, the app has gained significant traction with over 14 million unique users and more than 200 million transactions, reflecting improvements in digital governance that have earned global recognition from the United Nations and other international bodies.

President Marcos emphasized the importance of eGov PH as a key pillar in his administration's efforts to bring government services closer to citizens through digital transformation.
