Marcos Jr.'s trust rating climbs to 48%, VP Duterte at 61%

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr.'s trust rating rose to 48 percent in June 2025, according to a Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey commissioned by the Stratbase Group.

The survey, conducted from June 25 to 29 among 1,200 Filipino adults with a margin of error of ±3%, showed a 10-point increase from May's rating and marks the third consecutive month of growth.

Lawmakers welcomed the surge in Marcos Jr.'s trust rating as an affirmation of the administration’s actions and leadership, reflecting growing support for initiatives including those of the House of Representatives.

Vice President Sara Duterte maintained her high trust rating at 61 percent, while Senate President Francis 'Chiz' Escudero saw an 8-point increase to 55 percent.

House Speaker Martin Romualdez also experienced a boost in his approval ratings from 26 percent to 34 percent, signaling expanded support for the Marcos administration’s vision and programs.
