Marcos establishes task force for FFWWC 2025

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. established an Inter-Agency Task Force for the FIFA Futsal Women's World Cup (FFWWC) 2025 in the Philippines.

The task force, chaired by the Philippine Sports Commission and vice-chaired by the Department of the Interior and Local Government, includes various government agencies such as Tourism, Foreign Affairs, Finance, Budget and Management, Health, Information and Communications Technology, Public Works and Highways, Transportation, Presidential Communications Office, Philippine National Police, Bureau of Immigration, and Metro Manila Development Authority.

The task force will formulate plans, activities, and programs necessary for hosting the event successfully, including procurement of materials and equipment as mandated by Administrative Order No. 35 signed on July 30.

All government entities are directed to support the preparation and organization of the FFWWC 2025, while local government units and the private sector are encouraged to provide assistance.

The Philippines will host the tournament from November 21 to December 7 in Pasig City and Victorias City, Negros Occidental.
