Marcos inaugurates Valor Clinic in Lipa to serve veterans

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. inaugurated the Valor Access to Lifetime Optimized Health Care Program (Valor) Clinic in Lipa, Batangas on Friday.

The clinic at Fernando Air Base is a collaborative initiative among the Department of National Defense (DND), the Veterans Memorial Medical Center (VMMC), and the Philippine Air Force to expand medical services nationwide.

This facility aims to serve more veterans and their dependents while reducing patient congestion at VMMC’s main hospital in Quezon City, with plans for additional clinics across the country until 2028.

The Valor Clinic offers basic consultations, diagnostic exams, a pharmacy unit, teleconsultation facilities, immunization services, health screenings, laboratory tests including X-ray, CT scan and MRI, and local provider referrals.

Attorney Claire Castro previously announced phases two and three of the Valor Health Network program will be implemented from 2026 to 2028, including active-duty soldiers as beneficiaries, while extending primary care services to civil defense members are also under consideration.

Marcos tasked the DND and Department of Budget and Management to secure funding for this project.
