Marcos distributes land titles and COCROMs to agrarian reform beneficiaries in Davao and Central Mindanao

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. distributed land titles and Certificates of Condonation with Release of Mortgage (COCROMs) to agrarian reform beneficiaries in both the Davao region and Central Mindanao on Thursday.

In Davao, over 11,000 COCROMs were given to more than 9,000 beneficiaries across three provinces, condoning over P600 million in loans covering more than 13,000 hectares of agrarian reform lands.

Meanwhile, in Saranggani, Marcos distributed 1,251 Certificates of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs) and 13,527 COCROMs to over 11,709 beneficiaries from four provinces, freeing them from P939 million worth in loans.

The distribution also included more than 600 E-Titles and over 140 Certificates of Land Ownership Awards in Davao, with an additional 672 electronic land titles awarded to beneficiaries in Davao del Norte and Davao del Sur.

Marcos emphasized that this program aims to make farmers full landowners without further loan repayments or interest payments, acknowledging the support he received from both regions during previous elections.

He also highlighted upcoming infrastructure projects such as the Tagum City Bypass Road and Island Garden City of Samal Circumferential Road, expressing hope for their timely completion by 1026.
