Marcos' approval drops to 30.1%, VP Duterte's to 41%

A recent WR Numero Research poll found that over 40% of Filipinos are dissatisfied with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.'s performance and leadership.

President Marcos' approval rating dropped to 30.1% in February, a significant decline from the 45% recorded in September 2024; dissatisfaction was particularly high in Visayas and Mindanao.

Vice-President Sara Duterte-Carpio's approval rating also declined to 41%, down from 47% in September 2024, with her strongest disapproval coming from Metro Manila.

Filipinos are divided on Vice President Duterte's impeachment by the House of Representatives; 56.1% believe President Marcos should remain neutral.

WR Numero Research also found that at least eight senatorial candidates backed by the Marcos administration are within reach of winning seats in the upcoming Senate race, with Erwin Tulfo leading as the frontrunner.
