Manila Water aids over 62K displaced by Crising, Habagat

Manila Water has extended aid to over 62,000 displaced individuals across 173 evacuation centers in Metro Manila’s East Zone affected by Tropical Cyclone Crising and intensified southwest monsoon (Habagat).

The company delivered additional water supplies including 320 units of 5-gallon bottled water to various barangays in Quezon City, with more scheduled for delivery.

In Rodriguez, Rizal, Manila Water provided 275 units of 5-gallon bottled water and 200 vials of probiotics to ensure evacuee health, while Taguig City received 400 units of bottled water from MWF.

Manila Water also conducted flushing operations using treated wastewater in key public facilities such as San Jose High School in Rodriguez and Malanday Covered Court in San Mateo to maintain hygiene standards.

The company continues its sewer jetter services for road cleaning, reinforcing its commitment to public health and safety alongside local government units.
