44 tons, 50 truckloads of garbage collected at Manila North and South Cemeteries on Undas start

Manila City Mayor Honey Lacuna reported that 44 metric tons of garbage were collected from the Manila North Cemetery on Wednesday during the start of Undas 2024.

Additionally, about 50 truckloads of trash were gathered at the Manila South Cemetery on the same day.

At the Manila Memorial Park in Parañaque City, authorities expect to collect up to 60 truckloads of garbage from October 20 to November 10, with each truck carrying 13 cubic meters of waste.

The park has assigned 100 personnel for cleaning and uses two trucks within the park for daily waste collection.

As of Thursday, November 2, over 63,000 visitors have visited Manila Memorial Park.
