Chelsea Manalo captivates in black outfit at Miss Universe Gala

Chelsea Manalo is captivating in her all-black outfit for the Miss Universe 2024 Gala de las Catrinas event.

Miss Universe posted a photo of Chelsea on Instagram, showcasing her stunning hat and face gems; she recently shared more photos wearing a cream body-hugging gown with a cape and her Jewelmer crown, as well as makeup-free beach pictures in a nude one-piece swimsuit.

Miguel Crespo, the official artist for Miss Universe Cosmetics, styled and made up Chelsea for the event, while creative director Seven Barretto encouraged her to embrace her natural beauty without makeup during their photoshoot.

Chelsea arrived in Mexico earlier this week to compete for the Philippines' fifth Miss Universe title and has been receiving overwhelming support from Filipino fans on social media; she recently surpassed 300,000 followers on Instagram.

The competition's coronation night is scheduled for November 16 (November 17 Philippine time), with preliminary and national costume competitions on November 14.
