Manalo attends Raisina Dialogue in New Delhi

Foreign Affairs Secretary Enrique Manalo arrived in New Delhi on Monday, March 17, to participate in the 10th Raisina Dialogue, a flagship international conference addressing pressing geopolitical and geoeconomic issues.

Manalo will speak on maritime security in the Indo-Pacific region during high-profile panels over three days from March 17 to 19, alongside other foreign ministers and policymakers.

The Secretary is scheduled to engage in bilateral meetings with foreign counterparts and interact with Indian business leaders during his visit.

On the second day of the conference, Manalo will join a panel discussion on 'Secure Waters: ASEAN, Quad and the Indo-Pacific,' focusing on strategic alignments and non-state actors' influence.

Manalo's participation marks the first time he has attended this significant dialogue, emphasizing the Philippines' commitment to deepening ties with India and exploring naval cooperation.

India explicitly called for compliance with the arbitral award supporting Manila's position against China's expansive claims, underscoring its support for Philippine maritime security.

During his visit, Manalo will also observe e-Visa operations at the Philippine Embassy in New Delhi.
