Maliksi Quinto earns PBA Press Corps-Pilipinas Live Player of the Week for standout performance

Meralco forward Allein Maliksi Quinto earned the PBA Press Corps-Pilipinas Live Player of the Week award for his performance from April 4 to 6.

Quinto averaged 13.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.0 assists during this period, receiving unanimous recognition.

His standout moment came in a comeback victory against Converge where he scored crucial points that led to Meralco's win by two points, setting up a big windup that ended with five straight points from Chris Newsome, including the winning jumper.

In another game against Terrafirma, Quinto contributed significantly with early three-pointers helping Meralco secure its biggest-ever win at 118-80.

Quinto highlighted his efforts in improving his shooting skills since joining the PBA, emphasizing his defensive prowess and playmaking abilities as well.

This marks Quinto's second Player of the Week award this season, previously winning it during the Commissioner's Cup earlier this year.
