Palace orders 30-50% workforce in GCQ government offices

Malacañang ordered government offices in GCQ areas to reduce their on-site workforce to a minimum of 30% and a maximum of 50% operational capacity from March 22 to April 4.

The directive, signed by Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea, aims to curb the spread of COVID-19 while ensuring essential services continue.

Agencies providing health, emergency front-line services, border control, and critical services may operate at higher capacities.

Government offices must submit a request for clearance from Malacañang if they need to temporarily close due to high numbers of COVID cases among their workforce.
