Makati launches drive-through vax site for PWDs, bedridden

Makati launched a drive-through vaccination site at Ayala Malls Circuit on Friday for A3 priority group and bedridden residents.

Mayor Abby Binay stated that this initiative is in response to requests from persons with disabilities and families of bedridden members who have difficulty accessing regular vaccination sites.

The city government will provide transportation for those without vehicles, and marshals will guide vaccinees and manage traffic.

During the dry run on Friday, around 100 individuals received their vaccines while remaining inside their cars.

Over 35,000 residents of Makati have been vaccinated as of end-April.
