Lung Center ER expands, operates at 200% for COVID-19

The Lung Center of the Philippines (LCP) has expanded its emergency room to three rooms and is currently operating at 200% capacity for COVID-19 cases.

LCP's spokesperson Dr. Norberto Francisco stated that one room is reserved for non-COVID patients, while two are dedicated to those with suspected or confirmed coronavirus infections.

The hospital announced it is not accepting walk-in and uncoordinated transfer of COVID-19 patients as well as elective surgical and non-emergency medical non-COVID patients due to full capacity.

Several individuals have been refused admission at the LCP because there are no available beds.
