Luigi Datome receives standing ovation in final Fiba World Cup game

Luigi Datome played his final game for Italy's national team on Saturday in the Fiba World Cup at Mall of Asia Arena.

Slovenia joined in saluting Datome when he was substituted out with 3:26 left in the fourth quarter, receiving a standing ovation from the crowd.

Datome hugged Slovenia’s players, including Luka Doncic, and his Italian teammates after the game.

Slovenian guard Gregor Hrovat praised Datome's career, calling him one of the best not just in Italy but also in Europe and the world.
