LRT-1 limited service due to technical fault

The Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) operated on limited service from Dr. Santos Station in Parañaque to Central Station in Manila due to a technical fault.

Passengers experienced delays and were instructed to get off at R. Papa Station while the stalled train was pushed, with some waiting for about an hour inside the train before disembarking.

The LRMC's engineering team worked diligently on-site to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

By 10:09 p.m., full operations on LRT-1 had resumed after necessary repairs and assessments were completed.

The LRMC apologized for any inconvenience caused by this unforeseen incident, which follows a similar occurrence in June due to an electrical fault.
