LPA affecting North, Central Luzon, scattered rains

A low pressure area (LPA) with a small chance of becoming a tropical cyclone within the next 24 hours is affecting Northern and Central Luzon, according to PAGASA's early Saturday morning forecast.

The Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Batanes, and Babuyan Islands will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the LPA located west of Zambales.

Metro Manila, Visayas, CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, and Bicol are also expecting similar weather conditions influenced by the Southwest Monsoon or Habagat.

Localized thunderstorms are expected in other parts of the country.

Winds will be moderate in northern and western sections of Luzon, while light to moderate winds with slight to moderate seas are forecast for the rest of the country.
