Duterte looks for Robredo in final SONA

President Rodrigo Duterte departed from his adversarial rhetoric against Vice President Leni Robredo in his final State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday.

Duterte looked for Robredo at Batasang Pambansa during his speech but she was monitoring it virtually, waving her hand when he mentioned Sorsogon and its territory.

Robredo's spokesperson earlier said that the Vice President received an invitation to attend the SONA via Zoom like last year, but days later she was invited to be physically present at the House of Representatives.
