Locsin leaves for US-ASEAN Special Summit

Foreign Affairs Secretary Teodoro Locsin Jr. left for Washington D.C. to attend the US-ASEAN Special Summit on May 12.

Locsin will represent President Duterte in discussions with US leaders including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris, as well as members of Congress and the business sector.

The summit aims to enhance cooperation between ASEAN and the US in areas such as pandemic recovery, health security, maritime security, climate change, clean energy transformation, digital economy, trade, and sustainable infrastructure.
