Liza Soberano confirms end of relationship with Enrique Gil

Actress Liza Soberano confirmed during a 'Can I Come In?' podcast episode that she ended her relationship with Enrique Gil nearly three years ago, on Thursday, August 14.

Soberano revealed in an honest and heartbreaking episode of the documentary-podcast that being part of a love team helped her escape poverty and abuse, providing both financial support and emotional security.

Their relationship began in 2014 but was publicly disclosed only in 2019; they worked together on several projects including 'Just the Way You Are' and 'My Ex and Whys'.

Speculations about their breakup started as early as 2022, with Soberano denying them until now, while Gil had repeatedly denied rumors of a split.

In the podcast episode, Liza explained that she and Enrique initially kept their breakup a secret at his request because they were both afraid of how it would affect their careers.

Since moving back to America in 2022, Soberano has starred in Hollywood projects such as 'Lisa Frankenstein' alongside Kathryn Newton and Cole Sprouse, gaining critical acclaim for her performance.
