Lithuania advances to World Cup quarters after defeating Greece

Lithuania advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2023 FIBA World Cup after defeating Greece, 92-67, on Friday at the Mall of Asia Arena.

In their previous match on Tuesday, Lithuania secured first place in Group D with a 91-71 win over Montenegro.

Rokas Jokubaitis led Lithuania with 19 points in both games, while Mindaugas Kuzminskas contributed 15 points against Montenegro.

Lithuania's victory also guaranteed the United States a spot in the quarterfinals. They will face each other on Sunday.
