Community pantry initiative spreads in Philippines

A community pantry initiative started by Ana Patricia Non on Maginhawa Street in Quezon City has inspired similar efforts across the Philippines.

Non set up a bamboo cart with vegetables to help people struggling due to the government's inadequate pandemic response.

The sign on the cart reads, 'Magbigay ayon sa kakayahan, kumuha batay sa pangangailangan' (Give what you can, take what you need).
