Lilia Pineda wins Pampanga gubernatorial race

As of Tuesday, May 13 at 10:14 p.m., Lilia Pineda secured the gubernatorial race in Pampanga with 707,782 votes.

Lilia Pineda's main competitors were Danilo Baylon and Amado Santos, who received significantly fewer votes of 475,200 and 6,835 respectively.

Dennis Pineda, son of Lilia Pineda, secured the vice-gubernatorial race with 748,990 votes, defeating former governor Eddie Panlilio.

A total of 1,636,812 votes have been processed, representing nearly all of the election returns from the province.

With 1,674,789 registered voters, Pampanga is the second most populous voting district in Central Luzon.

The establishment of Kapanalig at Kambilan ning Memalen Pampanga (KAMBILAN) by Lilia Pineda in 2012 has been crucial to strengthening their support base and maintaining their position as the province's dominant political force.
