San Miguel donates 8,400 sacks of flour to Metro Manila LGUs

San Miguel Corporation has donated over 8,400 sacks of flour to local government units (LGUs) and small bakeries in Metro Manila to support food supply during the enhanced community quarantine.

A 25-kilogram bag of flour can produce about 1,600 pieces of pandesal, helping LGUs boost their rations and ensure citizens have access to nutritious bread.

SMC president Ramon Ang stated that the donation aims to supplement local food supplies and provide added nutrition needed during the COVID-19 pandemic.
