Leyte towns lock down areas due to COVID-19 exposure

Leyte towns have imposed lockdowns in specific areas due to potential exposure to COVID-19.

Burauen municipality placed Libas village under a three-day lockdown starting August 12, following contact with two confirmed cases who visited on July 17, July 31, and August 1.

Alangalang town also implemented a temporary lockdown in Barangay Holy Child 2 from noon on August 12, to prevent the spread of the virus after exposure to a three-year-old child whose father is a 38-year-old policeman who tested positive.
