Letran secures Final Four spot, twice-to-beat edge

Letran defeated Mapua, 34-36, 25-18, 25-17, 25-22, on Wednesday to secure a spot in the Final Four of the NCAA Season 100 women's volleyball tournament at Filoil EcoOil Arena.

The victory was Letran's 15th win in 18 matches and secured them a twice-to-beat advantage for finishing among the top two teams.

Gia Macquiling led the Lady Knights with her best performance of the season, scoring 22 points, including 19 on kills.

Letran will face either Arellano University or Mapua in the semifinals on Sunday at Filoil EcoOil Arena.

The team aims to reach the finals for a second consecutive year and end their 27-year title drought.
