Letran secures Filoil Preseason Cup quarterfinals spot

Colegio de San Juan de Letran secured a spot in the quarterfinals of the Filoil EcoOil Preseason Cup with a 75-68 victory over San Sebastian on Friday.

The Knights extended their winning streak to six games and maintained sole leadership of the NCAA group with a record of 7-1, making them the first team to book a playoff ticket.

Deo Cuajao led Letran with 11 points, while Jimboy Estrada and Jonathan Manalili each contributed 10 points.

Despite the win, coach Allen Ricardo expressed concerns about his team's performance on both ends of the court, noting that they need to improve their attitude and body language moving forward.

Far Eastern University earned a hard-fought 68-66 overtime victory over Adamson, thanks to Mo Konateh's double-double of 23 points and 20 rebounds.
