Letran beats Lyceum 63-45 in NCAA juniors

Letran College secured a win over Lyceum of the Philippines University, defeating them 63-45 on Monday in the NCAA Season 100 juniors basketball tournament at Filoil EcoOil Arena.

The victory marks Letran's strong start under their new coach Willie Miller, who succeeded Allen Ricardo after his promotion to Knights' head coach last year.

Jhuniel dela Rama led the team with a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds while Syrex Silorio contributed 12 points.

University of Perpetual Help also kicked off their title bid by defeating Mapua University 86-80 in an earlier match.

LeBron Jhames Daep was instrumental for the Junior Altas with a game-high 20 points and added nine rebounds, three assists, three blocks, and a steal.
