Leni Robredo launches mayoral campaign, endorses Kiko Pangilinan for Senate

Former Vice President Leni Robredo launched her campaign for Naga City mayor on Friday with a pledge to uphold people-centered governance and continue the legacy of her late husband, Jesse Robredo.

Robredo and senatorial candidate Kiko Pangilinan campaigned together in Barangay Peñafrancia on Sunday, March 30, where Robredo endorsed Pangilinan for the Senate seat. She highlighted his track record as a public servant and his willingness to sacrifice for the country by running against Sara Duterte.

Robredo emphasized that Pangilinan is her only choice for runningmate in the 2022 elections due to his reputation and commitment, urging voters to support him under the Liberal Party (LP) banner.

The former vice president visited the An Bag-Ong Team Naga headquarters and joined a women's organization founded by her for National Women's Month celebrations.

Robredo continues to prioritize inclusive progress, sustainable growth, urban development, and basic services such as water, electricity, traffic control, and flood management. She has been visiting every barangay in Naga City, including remote areas like Carolina and Balatas.
