Lani Misalucha is mourning the loss of her mother, Esperanza Bayot, who passed away at 89 years old on Friday, July 7.

Misalucha shared details about her mother's wake and interment via her Facebook page last Friday, with the wake continuing until Monday, July 7, at St. Peter Chapels in Canlalay, Biñan, Laguna.

The interment will take place on Tuesday at the Heritage Memorial Park in Taguig.

Celebrities such as Ogie Alcasid, Martin Nievera, Vina Morales, Jaya, Kuh Ledesma, and Pops Fernandez offered condolences on Misalucha's Facebook post.

Misalucha recently spoke about her struggles with hearing loss following bacterial meningitis, which affected her mental health and led to a period where she did not want to socialize or move.
